LEH President Thungbeni Ngullie urged action be taken right away, stating the professor is not worthy to be in an academic environment.
The NSF issued a three-day ultimatum to the Vice-Chancellor of the university demanding the termination of Yenisetti. This was based on the verbal abuse of postgraduate students by Yenisetti and his record of unprofessional conduct. The Lotha Officers' Association and Podinakup Public Organization have termed the act as barbaric and against basic educational principles.
Various Dimapur-based groups, such as DNSU, DLYO, and DLE, have come out in solidarity with Mozhui. It claims the professor has created an adverse environment and demanded that the professor be dismissed at the earliest to maintain institutional integrity.
