Life Inside PPE Kit: A Well Deserved Break After a Hard Day's Work

GANGTOK: The nursing profession is always considered noble, selfless, and exhausting, in such instance a photo of a health worker with his PPE kit, sitting on oxygen cylinders and eating his well-deserved meal in Sikkim goes viral.

In a photo shared by Amit Manchay, the caption reads, "A well-deserved rest and nourishment after a hard day's work. Your service to mankind will not go unnoticed!"

 Notably in this pandemic patient satisfaction plays a major role in any healthcare facility and with this objective in mind healthcare workers who are termed as COVID-19 warriors are showing no hesitancy to give it back to society.

Though they have to wear PPE kits and masks for hours together, the entire nursing team has taken a pledge to ensure their patients' health and wellness. Most days, they don't even get to drink water properly, use the washroom or even have their meals on time. However, that smile on the face never fades.

These workers keep their worries and problems aside to make the patients comfortable. There could be a sick baby at their home or parents or their husband, the dedication for the patients and work starts as soon as they step inside the hospital.

It is imminent that no healthcare facility is complete without the presence of resilient, skilled, and experienced nursing staff. They are the ones generally assisting doctors.
