Sikkim Government In Talks With Bangladesh For Tourism Facilitating Centre At Siliguri

Sikkim and Bangladesh have deliberated on having tourism facilitating centre at Siliguri and a Bagdogra-Dhaka flight to encourage a lot of tourists from Bangladesh visiting the Himalayan State.

The discussion on these points took place between Sikkim Chief Minister P.S. Golay and 2 Bangladeshi diplomats here at Samman Bhawan on Monday. Syed Muazzem Ali, High Commissioner and Zahid-ul-Islam, minister, the embassy of Bangladesh had called on the Chief Minister.

The Bangladesh High Commissioner enlightened the Chief Minister regarding the congenial relationship maintained between India and Bangladesh.
