Sikkim registers 5 fresh cases; active cases 63

Sikkim has registered 5 more Covid-19 positive cases.

Out of 5 fresh cases, 2 are from East district and 3 are from West district.

The infected patients were in facility quarantine centres and are reported to be asymptomatic.

The infected patients have been shifted to Covid-19 Isolation ward of STNM Hospital.

The total number of active cases are 63.

It is to be mentioned that Sikkim reported its first case of the Coronavirus on May 23. The first positive patient from the state is a 25 year old man who had returned to the state from New Delhi where he was preparing for his UPSC exams.
