AGARTALA: BJP State vice-president Subal Bhowmik has accused the CPI(M) for conspiring to fish in the troubled water in the hilly areas of the State by misguiding the people. He was addressing two public meeting at Paharmura and Lal Tilla in Khowai organized by BJP Scheduled Cast Morcha.

He said the CPI(M) held power in the State for long 25 years uninterruptedly but did nothing for the development of the Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes and is now trying to question the one-year-old BJP-IPFT coalition government about their performance. “This is a treacherous act and everyone should remain alert about this design,” he said.

He alleged that it is an old design of the CPI(M) to create differences between various sections of the society and to harvest political gain out of it. They followed this design while in power and adopting the same after people threw them out of power.
