President Droupadi Murmu arrives in Tripura

Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and Governor Satyadeo Naraya Arya welcomed President of India Droupadi Murmu at MBB airport in Agartala this morning.

President Murmu has arrived here in Agartala for a two-day visit.

After arrival at MBB Airport, a guard of honor was accorded to the president from Tripura Police at the terminal of MBB Airport.

On Facebook, Chief Minister Dr Saha wrote, "It is my great pleasure to welcome the Honorable President of India, Mrs. Droupadi Murmu Ji at Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport, Agartala. I think her two-day visit to the state will be a milestone for the people of Tripura".

The president has arrived at 11:15 AM and went to Narishingarh where she inaugurated Tripura State Judicial academy in presence of Chief Minister Dr Saha, Law Minister Ratan Lal Nath, Chief Justice of Tripura High Court Indrajit Mahanty, Justice Arindam Lodh, and others.

At 3.30 PM the president will move to Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhawan where she will inaugurate seven projects virtually.
