AGARTALA : While addressing BJPs Jan Biswas Yatra rally in Karaban, Chief Minister of Tripura, Manik Saha compares the party with holy Ganga. He ascertains that whoever has committed a sin in his life must join hands with BJP to undo all of it. 

He appealed the gathering who believe in the Stalin and Lenin ideology, to unit with the leading party as it is pious in nature. 'All your sins will vanish if you take a holy dip in Ganga' stated the CM. 

The rally was launched on Thursday, by home minister Amit Shah. The yatra was conducted as a part of the upcoming Assembly elections. BJP is all set to contest the election with the Indigenous People's Front of Tripura (IPFT). On the other hand, Trinamool Congress will contest the election without any ally to snatch away the authority from BJP. 

Currently, CPI(M) is on top of the opponent list, to contest against the safron party. Saha slammed the CPI(M) for creating a violent and non democratic scenario during their tenure in power. He claims that the Communist party deprived people of their own basic rights.

Notably, CPI(M) rules the state of Tripura for 25 years. However, in 2018 people shifted their trust into BJP and remove them from power. Saha mentioned how PM Narendra Modi is continuously working towards establishment of fair governance while eliminating any sort of of corruption since 2014.

BJP is following the footsteps of the PM, and have trying to bring in pure democracy in Tripura since the party came into power, added the minister. He further expressed his confidence on the safron party and its victory in the upcoming elections.

Jana Biswas Yatra was flagged by Home Minister Amit Shah in Dharmanagar town. Shah claimed during the rally that, people will use their wisdom and conscience and make the safron party come into power.

He raised several slogans highlighting the achievements of the party. He assured employment for youths, protection of women and the basic rights of people by the BJP government.
