Agartala: “The deficit of blood in hospitals across the State due to the elections will be solved shortly as many organizations, clubs and voluntary organizations have prepared a calendar for organizing blood donations camps in the next few days,” Health Minister Sudip Roy Barman said while inaugurating a blood donation camp in the health directorate organized by the local unit of the Health Departmental Employees Association. MLA Ashish Kumar Saha and Sushanta Choudhury also were present in the camp.

Hospitals across the State is suffering from severe shortage of blood as only few blood donation camps were organized during last few months as everybody was busy with the election-related work.
