Tripura: Twipra Students' Federation Creates Ruckus Over Reports of Alleged Ragging

Agartala: Members of the Twipra Students' Federation (TSF) allegedly created a ruckus after they entered the hostel of Maharani Tulsibati School girls, on Sunday, over the information of ragging.

As per reports, the members of TSF claimed girls in junior classes are harassed by the seniors, and seniors also physically abused them.

Interestingly, some parents also claimed the same against the hostel.

Meanwhile, speaking to media persons, a girl named Airushi Debbarma alleged that she was tortured by her seniors for the last two years.

''They have been torturing me physically as well. They don't even allow me to take food,'' she added.

Reportedly, upon receiving the complaint, the members of the TSF reached the hostel premises and met the hostel warden, and flagged the grievances of the students.

Notably, along with the TSF members, the parents of the students also gathered at the hostel premises and complained.
