Kohima Transport Office will adopt the e-Gov applications very shortly.

Kohima: The Nagaland Transport Department is planning to adopt the latest versions of e-Governance applications Vahan 4.0 and Sarathi 4.0 for the purpose of registration of vehicles, issuing of driving licenses, and other services.

Keneingunuo Clara, regional transport officer of Kohima in a press release said that the new applications will be web-based and all processes and requirements for vehicle registration and issue of the license will be done in real time.

The Office of Regional Transport at Nagaland's capital is expected to begin adopting this application very shortly. The web-based application will enable the cognizance of all the taxes along with late fines.

The department appealed to all vehicle owners and holders of driving licenses to update the vehicle taxes, fees and validate driving licenses, trade certificates, road permits, etc. before October 31, so as to avoid heavy fines and inconveniences.
