*99# facility of National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) is proving to be very beneficial for the people. With this service of NPCI, one can easily make UPI payments without the internet. For this one do not need to depend on data or the internet.

For making transactions through this, one needs to take care of some basic things.

Using NPCI service *99#, one can send money, can also check balance and one can also set its UPI PIN.

Here's How To Make Payment Using NPCI Service *99#

-- Customers have to dial *99# on their dial pad for this service. After this, you will see a menu pop up for the user.

--Users can choose further options according to whichever service they are using. For example, to send money, you have to press one.

-- One needs to type 1 in the text file to send money. This will allow you to carry a transaction using either your UPI ID, bank account number and IFSC code or phone number. One choose the option of their choice

-- If one chooses UPI, then he/she has to enter the recipient's UPI ID. If you select a bank account, then you have to enter the beneficiary's account number and IFSC code. On the other hand, If one opts for the phone number options, then he/she needs to enter the recipient's phone number.

-- After this, one needs to enter the amount that one wishes to transfer which is the same as any other digital platform.

-- In the last step, one needs to enter a UPI PIN number. Then press sends to complete the transaction. Once the transaction is completed, one will get the confirmation of the same.

One can also save the beneficiary as a favourite for future transactions. Notably, using the service will cost you a meagre fee of Rs 0.50.
