New Delhi: Samsung on Wednesday launched the flagship Galaxy S22 series smartphones at its Galaxy Unpacked event. The company has launched three new S-series smartphones which includes the model name Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Interestingly, these smartphones are powered with the latest chipsets AMOLED displays with 120Hz refresh rate.

Notably, this year, Samsung has worked on some of its weak points as the brand has successfully increased the charging speed for its Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra models.

However, the Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ models have the same camera setup as compared to Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Here are the full details of the price and features of these phones:

As per the reports, Samsung Galaxy S22 and Samsung Galaxy S22+ will be available in 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variant options. On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will be available in 8GB+128GB, 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB and 12GB+1TB variants.

Price:

The starting price of Galaxy S22 is expected to be $799.99 (approximately Rs 59,900) while the starting price of Galaxy S22 Plus is $999.99 (approximately Rs 74,800). The starting price of Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is $ 1,199 (about Rs 89,700). These phones will be available for sale from February 25.

Samsung Galaxy S22

Out of the box, Samsung Galaxy S22 can be seen running on Android 12 with One UI 4.1 on top. This phone has a 6.1-inch full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display protected with Gorilla Glass Victus+, while aluminum can be seen in the chassis. The display of this phone is equipped with Samsung's Eye Comfort Shield for blue light control and an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate that can go as low as 10Hz.

The phone is powered by an octa-core 4nm chip paired with 8GB of RAM.

Coming to cameras, the phone is equipped with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel primary Dual Pixel wide-angle sensor with autofocus; 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with an f/2.4 aperture lens with 3x optical zoom and optical image stabilization (OIS).

The Samsung Galaxy S22 has a 3,700mAh battery that supports fast charging at 25W, while the smartphone supports 15W wireless charging.

Samsung Galaxy S22+

This phone too runs on Android 12 and has a 6.6-inch full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with support for Samsung's Eye Comfort Shield for blue light control and offers an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate that can drop to 10Hz, and a range of 1,750 nits. The Galaxy S22+ has an octa-core 4K.

Out of the box, the Samsung Galaxy S22 comes with 256GB of onboard storage. This phone has a 4,500mAh battery that supports fast charging at 45W, while the smartphone supports 15W wireless charging as well as reverse wireless.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is the first smartphone in the S-series to have the S Pen built into the body of the phone, with up to 70 percent less latency than its previous model. The smartphone runs on Android 12 with One UI 4.1 on top. Unlike the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+, which have full-HD+ displays, the Galaxy S22 Ultra sports a larger 6.8-inch Edge QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.

According to the company, the phone will be sold in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage options. In terms of battery, the phone has a 5000mAh battery with support for fast charging at 45W.
