12-year-old boy drowns in Kokrajhar

In a tragic incident, a sixth standard student of Babyland High School in Kokrajhar got drowned after he along with his friends went to Gourango River to take a bath after Children's Day celebration at school.

On Friday, the SDRF personnel recovered the body from Gourango River in Juwali area at around 10.10 am in the morning.

The deceased boy identified as Shantanu Rabha (12) is the son of Charumohan Rabha and Kokila Rabha, he originally hails from Goalpara Town.
