13 year old boy drowns in River Brahmaputra

In a tragic incident, a 13 year old boy drowned in River Brahmaputra on Sunday afternoon near Bazaarghat in Uzan Bazaar area of Guwahati. The boy was identified as Roshan Basfor.

Sources informed that Roshan Basfor came along with his parents to perform some pujas and rituals near Bazaarghat of Uzan Bazaar area, when he reportedly slipped and fell in the River and got drowned.

Meanwhile, both the SDRF and NDRF personnel have launched a search operation in the area.
