14th Foundation Day celebration of Central Institute of Technology (CIT) held in Kokrajhar

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Friday while attending the 14th foundation day celebration of Central Institute of Technology (CIT), Kokrajhar, as chief guest called upon the guardians to ignite their children for pursuing quality education.

He hoped that the CIT, Kokrajhar will be a unique institution for national integrity vis a vis giving excellence technical education to the students coming from across the country. Sonwal said once four districts of BTC were known as disturbed area but peace has returned as the initiative of BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary. He said Kokrajhar became a hub of educational institutions as it has various technical and higher educational institutions. He also said more educational institutions were coming up in BTC region.
