17 year old minor allegedly raped and murdered in Chirang

A 17 year girl was allegedly raped and murdered by an unidentified miscreant No. 3 Goraimari under Panbari Police Station in Chirang District.

As per family members of the deceased girl, she was talking over phone to a person at night, later; she was reported missing from her home.

Upon inspecting the matter, local people in the area spotted her body under mysterious condition nearby a jungle and informed the matter to the police.

Locals also suspect it to be case of both rape and murder and demanded strong action against the culprit.
