36th Abhiruchi Sports Day observed in Sivasagar's Demow

Alike the other parts of the state, the 36th Abhiruchi Sports Day were observed today in Sivasagar's Demow.

Under the aegis of Demow Handball Club, a mass race was organized at Demow sports ground in the morning hours today.

It may also be mentioned that Arjun Awardee Bhogeswar Baruah was born in Sivasagar District in the year 1940.
