7 year old girl allegedly raped by 60 year old man in Sonitpur

In a shocking incident, a 7 year old minor girl was allegedly raped by a 60 year old man at Gaiwaiya village in Jahamari area of Borsola constituency under Sonitpur District.

As per reports, there was no one was at home on the day of the incident, thus, taking advantage of the situation, the accused identified as Arun Nath carried out this shameful incident.

Following the incident, Thelamora police arrested the accused and a case was also registered at Thelamora Police Station with case vide no 94/19 under section 506 of the Indian Penal Code and RW/section 4 of the POCSO Act.
