Agitated Mob Viciously Assaults Senior Journalist in Dhemaji

In a shocking incident, a senior journalist was brutally attacked by the agitated mob inside the premises of Sisiborgaon Police Station in Dhemaji on Tuesday evening.

As per reports, the mob gheraoed the police station demanding arrest of the culprits who were recently involved in a hit and run case in the area.

Later, police personnel rescued the journalist and sent him to Assam Medical College Hospital in Dibrugarh.

Meanwhile, several organizations in Dhemaji has condemned the incident and demanded immediate arrest of the culprits.
