All Tai Ahom Students' Union staged protest against CAB in Tinsukia

After the Union Cabinet approved the CAB, the movement against the central government was intensified in the entire state of Assam including Tinsukia Town.

Today, the All Tai Ahom Students' Union (ATASU) staged a protest and raised slogans against Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi near Thana Chariali in Tinsukia town.

Similarly, All Assam Muttok Yuva Chatra Sanmilan burnt the effigies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal in protest against the contentious Citizenship Bill.
