Alleged Molestation Case in Guwahati, CP Deepak Kumar addresses Media

City Commissioner Deepak Kumar on Saturday informed that the police had arrested two persons for allegedly molesting their 17 year old niece in Guwahati since last six months.

As per reports, based on a complaint filed by Gautam Sharma, a city-based journalist of an Assamese daily, police picked up one Tankeswar Handique and Hiruprasad Deka on Friday night in connection to the incident.

A case also has been registered (no 134/19) under POSCO Act and under section 376/ (A) (B) of the Indian Penal Code against the duo.
