Arms Laying Down Ceremony: Boro Women Justice Forum Chairperson, Anjali Daimary's reaction

Boro Women Justice Forum (BWJF), Chairperson, Anjali Daimary expresses her satisfaction after Centre signed the Bodo Peace Accord with the four NDFB factions on last Monday.

Anjali Daimary attended the Arms Laying Down Ceremony here in Guwahati this morning.

Also, All Bodo Students' Union (ABSU) President, Pramod Boro said that signing of the Bodo Peace Accord with the Centre will give a positive and meaningful message to the Civil Society.

It may be mentioned that around 1500 rebels from National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) factions surrendered in Arms Laying Down Ceremony at the Guwahati Medical College Hospital (GMCH) Auditorium today.

Assam Minister, Govt of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma; Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal, as well as various police officials, present during the event welcomed the move.
