Assam Governor Prof Jagdish Mukhi visits Jorhat Medical College Hospital (JMCH)

Assam Governor Prof Jagdish Mukhi on Friday paid a visit at the Jorhat Medical College Hospital (JMCH) and was dissatisfied to see the attendants sitting on the bed of the patients along with their luggage.

During his visit he spotted many attendants were sitting on the bed along with luggage as there was a shortage of seating arrangement in the OPD waiting and consultation area.

The Governor immediately called the concerned authorities at the hospital and directed them to make necessary seating arrangements for patient's attendants.

It may be mentioned that Governor Prof Jagdish Mukhi also paid his visit to Sivadol in Sivasagar on the occasion of SHIV RATRI.

Governor Mukhi also inaugurated Maha Shivratri Festival 2020 at the historic Shiva Dol and prayed for the welfare of all sections of the people of the State in Sivasagar district earlier on Thursday.
