ATASU stage protest in Dhemaji's Gogamukh

The All Tai Ahom Student Union (ATASU) staged a sit-in demonstration on day of Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal's Lakhimpur visit.

ATASU unit of both Lakhimpur and Dhemaji staged their protest at Gogomukh in Dhemaji District against the NHPC for the implementation of Lower Subansiri Hydroelectric Project.

The student's bodies also chanted anti-NHPC slogans "NHPC Go Back", "NHPC Hoshiyar" while staging the sit-in demonstration.
