Broad daylight robbery in Digboi, Miscreants loot cash Rs 1.60 lakh

Two bike-borne miscreants robbed a resident of Anandapara in Digboi on Monday morning.

The victim identified as Namita Chowdhury along with her daughter came out of the United Bank of India (Digboi Branch) after withdrawing an amount of Rs 1.60 lakh cash.

While they were approaching towards their locality in a rickshaw, the bike-borne miscreants took away the cash from their possession.

A case was registered in connection to the matter at Digboi police station.
