Car lifting gang busted in Lumding, One Arrested

In a major operation by the Assam Police, a car lifting gang was busted in Lumding town on Sunday. Police also arrested one person in connection to the matter.

As per police, on November 21, the gang had stolen a car bearing registration number AS 02BC 2733 of one identified as Narayan Kumar Das.

Notably, one Rana Bhakta and Naba alias Kripa Das was involved in stealing the car near Brahma Mandir (Temple) in Lumding.

Upon interrogation, the arrested accused revealed that would steal parked cars from residential areas on-demand from prospective buyers in Dimapur.
