Drug Racket Busted in Naharkatia, 10 Apprehended

Based on specific information, Assam Police busted a racket of drug paddlers in Naharkatia town today and arrested so far 10 drug addict/paddler/dealer and seized 4 two wheeler,1 car,1 bicycle, 6.5 grm of suspected Heroin worth around Rs 2 lakhs, 8 mobile handsets.

Arrested persons was identified as Nitul alias Gutlu Das, 24 yrs of Jagun Ghat, Naharkatia, Panna Dey,28yrs of Bairagipatty, Naharkatia, Asif Ali, 21 yrs of New Colony, Namrup, Bibhan Tirwal, 21 yrs of Saikya Gaon, Namrup, Sanju Baidya, 20 yrs of New Colony, Naharkatia, Chintu Gogoi alias Dhunti, 19 yrs of Joypur Town, Papu Saha,24 yrs of Balughat, Naharkatia, Raju Debnath of Serepajan Pather, Joypur, Hirakjyoti Khakhlary alias Bilai, 26 yrs of Baghmara, Joypur, Samiran Bora, 26 yrs of Bordumsa Town, Dist-Changlang, Arunachal Pradesh.

Attempts are on to unearth the whole gang.
