Herd of 30 elephants damages several bighas of paddy in Jorhat

Several bighas of paddy field have been destroyed by a herd of 30 elephants in Jorhat's Napam area on Tuesday night.

Though farmers who were guarding the crop burst crackers to chase the elephants, the herd continued the destruction.
