Illegal IMFL liquors seized by Excise Department in Tezpur

In a major drive against illegal transportation of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) by the department of Excise in Sonitpur in past 48 hours, three people have been apprehended by the department for their alleged involvement in illegal business of IMFL in the Tezpur town.

The Excise Department seized at least six and a half cartons of IMFL liquors during the operation drive in Tezpur.

Sources further informed that out of the six cartons one was supposed to get delivered in Arunachal Pradesh.
