Lakhimpur district prepared for the first phase of Panchayat polls on Wednesday

With one day to go for the first phase of Panchayat polls in the state, the poll officials in Lakhimpur district are moving into the various polling stations across the district. 3045 contestants are contesting for the 17 Zilla Parishad, 81 Gaon Panchayat and 810 Ward members in the district.
