Man Fakes his own Suicide, Got arrested in Raha

In a shocking incident, a prisoner who was reported to be dead after he allegedly committed suicide on July 6, 2019, was caught by police and arrested him at Mohgorh in Raha under Nagaon District on Friday.

The matter is quite shocking, isn't it?

Notably, one Jyoti Prasad Borah charged with murder was sentenced to life imprisonment by the court earlier was on a 20 days vacation, he visited his home on June 19, and accordingly, faked his own suicide attempt and went underground to evade arrest.

On July 6, 2019, Police recovered one suicide note, a scooter (AS O2A84491), one whisky bottle, sandal and one shirt near Kapili Bridge in Kampur.

The matter seemed quite suspicious, therefore, police launched an operation at Kapili River, however, nobody was recovered.

Police later continued with their operation and arrested Jyoti from Raha.
