Man held for allegedly raping a Girl in Powai under Digboi PS

A man was apprehended by locals at Bongaon in Powai under Digboi Police Station for allegedly raping a girl of the same area since last couple of days.

Locals after apprehending thrashed him severely and handed him over to Digboi Police.

The apprehended person was identified as Rudrabir Rai.

Meanwhile, Digboi police is conducting further investigation into the matter.
