Midday meal workers stage protest in Lakhimpur

Following the decision of the Assam Government to hand over the cooking and distribution of the meals to NGOs in the state, the Lakhimpur district's midday meal workers gheraoed an NGO named 'Paras Agro Society' on Friday morning and took out a massive protest rally.
