Minor girl killed on her way to school after bus hits her cycle in Samuguri

n a tragic incident, one school going student was killed in a road accident after an ASTC Volvo bus bearing registration number AS-20-1975 hits her from the back while she was on her way to school on Wednesday morning.

As per reports, three more students were reported injured in the road accident.

The deceased student was identified as Rabija Khatun of Amoni in Samuguri.

Also, another girl identified as Farida Khatun was immediately rushed to Nagaon under critical condition.

The bus was reportedly was heading towards Guwahati from Jakhalabandha in Nagaon.

Meanwhile, the incident had sparked sensation in the area, as local people blocked NH 37 out of anger.

Later, Agriculture Minister Atul Bora who was co-incidentally traveling on the same time had to face the agitated crowd.
