No Political meetings permitted in Burhidihing area, Tinsukia District until CAA is repealed.

Citizens of Kailashpur, Margherita took part in a protest against CAA on Wednesday and sent an ultimatum that no political meetings will be allowed in Kailashpur until the Citizenship (Amendment) Act 2019 is repealed.

Thousands of people took part in a protest march where they walked for nearly 7 kilometers to arrive at NH 15 to take part in a meeting where protestors unilaterally decided that 'Until and Unless CAA is repealed, no political party will be able to hold any meeting at Burhidihing area'.

Although the protest was peaceful, people were carrying bows and arrows, swords, slingshots and various cultural musical instruments.
