One Person Killed in a Road Accident on the NH-38 in Digboi.

In a tragic incident, One person Died after a Scooter (AS-23J-3550) he was riding was hit from behind by a Truck (AS-09 C-1856) travelling from Tinsukia to Margherita.

The Deceased has been identified as one Pranjal Borthakur, a contractual employee at the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) Hospital died on the spot.

Following the incident, the Truck was caught by the locals and handed over to The Digboi Police station.

Further investigation is on.
