Police launched drive against Oil Theft Gangs in Tinsukia

In a major drive against Oil Theft Gangs in Tinsukia's VIP Road Hijiguri since past few days, Tinsukia police on Sunday night seized six IOCL oil tanker trucks, huge quantity of stolen oil and oil cutting pipes from the spot.

So far no arrests have been made in connection to the matter, however, the police investigation is on.

The operation was led under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police (Headquarters) Asif Ahmed, Additional Superintendent of Police Ripunjay Kakoti and District Magistrate Jaideep Razzak
