Public staged massive rally against NGO Ghanshyam Seva Samiti in Tinsukia

Under the aegis of AASU, AJYCP, Tai Ahom Chatra Sanstha, the local people including the school students among others staged out a massive rally against the NGO Ghanshyam Seva Samiti in Tinsukia.

It may be mentioned that several school students feel sick consuming mid-day meal prepared by NGO Ghanshyam Seva Samiti at Baruahola High School under Panitola Police Station in Tinsukia District on last Saturday.

As per reports, in the morning hours, around 6 students were referred to Tinsukia Civil Hospital for medication, however, they were soon released after thorough medical observation.

Later, in the evening, at least 80 students have been brought to the Out-Patient Department (OPD) at the Civil Hospital for medical tests.
