Road Accident in Demow, One dies

In a tragic incident, a pedestrian was killed when he was hit by a transport truck (WB 41G 9190)in the mid night hours on the day of Maha Navami at Khaura Tea Estate near National Highway 37 in Demow.

The identity of the pedestrians has not been ascertained so far, informed the Moran Police officials.

The truck driver was reported absconding.
