Road Accident in Tinsukia kills Three women on the day of 'Mahalaya'

Tragedy hits Tinsukia on the day of 'Mahalaya' as three female pedestrians were killed and several people were reported injured after being hit by a speedy Innova car (AS 03H 2223) in the wee hours today.

As per sources, one Nirmali Baruah died on the spot and the injured pedestrians were shifted to Tinsukia Civil Hospital under critical condition.

Later, doctors confirmed the death of two more female pedestrians identified as Ritamoni Gohain and Priya Gohain.

Notably, one Ritumoni Gohain and Nipu Gohain were shifted to Assam Medical College Hospital (AMCH) in Dibrugarh for better medication.
