RPF seized arms and ammunition from Avadh Assam Express at Guwahati Railway Station

Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel during a patrolling duty at the Avadh Assam Express in the mid night hours on Thursday seized arms and ammunition and apprehended one person in connection to the matter.

As per sources, two .22 pistols along with 22 rounds of live ammunition were recovered from an unclaimed bag from Coach No S1, 11 berth.

The apprehended person was identified as Subhash Singh.

Meanwhile, Subhash Singh has been taken into RPF's custody for interrogation.
