Several acres of Paddy Fields Destroyed by Wild Jumbos in Digboi

Man-Elephant conflict seems to be increasing in various parts of the State, in Bhimpathar, Haldibari, Kaloilobh areas under Digboi constituency, there are reports claiming the a herd of elephants have destroyed several acres of paddy fields in the above mentioned areas.

Last night, the raid of the elephants on the plantation has led to a loss of over several lakhs of rupees, leaving the growers in depression.
