Several Students' Union Protest in Dhansiri Subdivision

Several students' unions of Dhansiri Subdivision under Golaghat district staged naked protest on Tuesday. The protest was staged at Barpathar in protest against the controversial Citizenship (Amendment) bill. The protesters also burnt effigies of CM Sonowal and warned the govt not to indulge in anti-people activities. Almost 2000 weavers shouted slogans demanding immediate withdrawal of CAB.
