Well, the bottom line of the story is very shocking and tragic where a heartless son from Doulmukh Chariali in Sivasagar has abandoned his own old aged father and left him all alone in the middle of Torajan Road in Jorhat District on Thursday.

The poor father was identified as Ratan Bhattacharya. Later, he was rescued by the local people in Jorhat and was handed over to Jorhat Police.
