Smuggling Alert: Trucks carrying subsidized urea seized in Dhekiajuli by farmers

Conscious farmers in Dhekiajuli, Sonitpur seized two loaded trucks carrying subsidized urea on Wednesday morning.

Acting on a tip-off, the conscious farmers informed the matter to Dhekiajuli police and apprehended both the drivers. Both the drivers couldn't produce any valid challans during interrogation.

It is to be noted that these Government-subsidized urea gets illegally smuggled out of the country while the farmers starve to death.

Meanwhile, the trucks bearing registration number AS 12C 1817 and AS 12E 5509 is under police custody.
