Traffic Police in Guwahati make commuters aware about new rules

Watch Video | In the last one week, a lot of things have changed for motorists plying on Indian roads. With the Motor Vehicles Act 2019 coming into effect from September 1, several motorists in Guwahati have been paying the penalties.

Look at this video in Guwahati's Chandmari area today where traffic police were found checking of all the documents of the vehicles.

As per new Motor Vehicles Act 2019, the main traffic violations are against one way, not wearing a helmet, the pillion rider, not wearing a seat belt, riding without a helmet, using mobile phones while driving and no valid insurance documents, etc.
