Watch: Two extremists gunned down by security forces under Soraibil BOP in Gossaigaon

Based on a ground input about movement of some extremist cadres in Soraibil BOP area along the Indo-Bhutan border, an Ops Team of Kokrajhar District Police with APR Commandos laid ambush in Boshbil FV under Soraibil BOP of Gossaigaon PS yesterday at around 5.30 pm.

At around 6.15 PM, a group of extremists in 2/3 motorcycles came into the striking zone of the ambush team.

As they were stopped and asked to surrender, the extremists started firing on the Ops team. The Ops team retaliated by taking cover with tactical movement.

After the firing stopped, two injured extremists were found and they were immediately shifted to RNB Civil Hospital, Gossaigaon. But, doctors declared them brought dead. They have not been identified yet.
