Union Minister DV Sadananda Gowda addresses media in Namrup

Union Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers, DV Sadananda Gowda on Thursday assured that the Government of India will set up the Namrup-IV unit of Namrup Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited (BVFCL) within next three to four years.

Earlier, the All Assam Students Union (AASU) of Dibrugarh Unit, the students' body staged a sit-in demonstration ahead of Union Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers, DV Sadananda Gowda's visit in Namrup on Thursday.

The student's body had been demanding for the immediate set of the Namrup-IV unit at Namrup Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited (BVFCL).
