Following the arrest of a hardcore ULFA (I) cadre by Jalukbari Police on Wednesday morning, City Commissioner Deepak Kumar on Thursday addressed the media.

Notably, based on secret information, Jalukbari Police launched an operation at Kamakhya Railway Station and apprehended the hardcore ULFA (I) cadre identified as Mithun Chutia alias Diganta Asom.

As per police sources, police officials are interrogating the cadre at Jalukbari Police Station.
