AASU members in Guijan waved black flag to Digboi MLA Suren Phukan

The activists of the All Assam Students' Union (AASU) Guijan Unit showed black flags to Digboi MLA Suren Phukan as a mark of protest against contentious Citizenship Amendment Act, 2019.

It may also be mentioned that BJP leaders, MLAs, MPs and the ministers of the BJP-led State Government, who came to Dhemaji on Wednesday to take part in the BJP peace rally, had to face massive protest by protesters of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA), 2019. Activists of the All Assam Students' Union (AASU) Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuva Chatra Parishad (AJYCP), All Tai Ahom Students' Union (ATASU), Asom Jatiyatbadi Yuva Parishad (AJYCP) and many other organizations waved black flags at them.
